Director Lo Monaco thinks Mihajlovic’s firm and tough approach is a good solution to their problems, adding that Mihajlovic is a born winner and a highly authoritative person. That is exactly the kind of approach that could shake the things up a bit a wake up this team, even make them true winners. Miha is without some major squad issues, apart from some long-term absentees. He will modify the formation a bit and try with two up front behind Morimoto supported by the thick line in the middle of the park. It was just part of the team expected to cause least problems. Namely , Livorno scored mere six goals so far despite two former internationals Lucarelli and Tavano. Ruotolo and the experienced Ruso led this team without success, both of the m are gone and Cosmi earned the chance to test his skills. His appointed resulted in several minimal wins, they even managed to score two goals per game which was nothing but a small miracle, but it was all of short breath. The team is on their old again without a single idea how to endure until January and those promised signings. Every line in this team needs recruitments and it is left to be seen if chairman Spinelli will open this bag in the next two months. Along with the suspended Lucarelli, Tavano and Galante will be also on the sidelines, so the forgotten Danilevicius will be running up front. We don’t think that Livorno stand a chance at Massimino. We think that Catania to win is the best bet in this round. Mihajlovic will shake things up a bit and luck should finally smile on this team too. Guests are weakened and they can hardly score.
