As expected, this is going to be very difficult season for Hull and if they want to avoid the drop, the Tigers will have to win these kinds of games. Portsmouth couldn’t build on the first win of the season as they lost at home to Tottenham but this is a good opportunity to close in on the teams above the relegation zone.Hull are largely struggling at the start of their second Premiership season but two home wins have helped them remain close to safety. It seems the key to survival will be their home form and the match against Portsmouth is obviously extremely important for the Tigers. This is a must-win game for them and we therefore expect Phil Brown’s side to adopt attacking approach from the off in an attempt to break the visitors early on. They have a couple of great players up front in Hesselink, Altidore and Geovanni, while the return of Jimmy Bullard will aid the creative department.
