Totti got back on board just in time, without their captain and with him in the squad, Roma are a different team. They beat Bari, the prince of Rome torpedoed the best defense in the league and after the sweet win, Roma are now in for a difficult outing in Bergamo. Last time they played home, Atalanta got beaten, Juve were simply too strong for them, but they managed to make up for the lost in Siena after it. the triumph over the strugglers confirmed the things we’ve been saying ever since Antonio Conte took over. Regardless of the poor start, this team has qualities, Orobici brought a hell of a manager and things will get clearer as the season unfolds. They will not surrender her, despite their last win, Roma are not something you should be terrified of. This will be a stern test for them, Atalanta are stronger than in Juventus game because couple of injured players recovered and it affected the team’s performance.He bagged a penalty in the last round and we will see if that can be a beginning of his scoring run. Namely, the young Italian international arrived from Cagliari and was expected to step in for Floccari who was the team’s top scorer in the last two years. He was neither lucky nor fit enough to do so and then he got injured. Managers changed, he was pushed aside and we hope this goal could restore some of the lost confidence. Atalanta will not be only defending, Conte is simply not that kind of a coach and he needs to make amends for that Cup loss to Lumezzane. Fans booed him out of the stadium, but to be quite honest, their Cup is a silly competition and smaller teams look to get out of it as soon as possible so they won’t waste strength in vain. Atalanta’s Peluso is suspended, Manfredini, Valdes and Barretto are injured, but De Ascentis is coming back along with Guarente and Acquafresca who will be side to side with Doni from the start. During the last couple of years, Atalanta used to beat Roma at home and they still have their chances in this game.  Their main aim is the return to Champions League, six points behind Sampdoria is not little. They are in the middle of the standings but we still don’t think they have what it takes to make a breach to the top. With Totti aboard they are by all means stronger, and all of other Roma’s regulars have no worthy replacements on the bench. We also don’t think Ranieri is the type of the manager capable of turnig the tables around for this team. They have managed to push their form up a notch having won seven points in three games, but they are still not doing great. Bari had the chances of their own we also think they are not well physically prepared to match and deal with others properly. At his arrival, Ranieeri set up his 4-4-2 formation, but confessed having made a mistake doing so and got back to 4-2-3-1 Spaleti used to favor before him. Romans will try with Totti up front who can’t run a lot but who becomes a lethal weapon as soon as he turns his face to the goal. Vucinic and Menez will support him from behind. they will do their utmost to win this game. guests are still without the injured De Rossiand that will certainly be a handicap for this team. An early goal could turn this game into a chase. We are in for a highly interesting game, but Bergamo turf is not so great this time of year. Anyhow, we do believe Atalanta will not lose but we have expected to see some bigger odds on the hosts.
