Botlon desperately need one good result to recover from three straight heavy defeats or else they’ll be in big problems. Rovers, on the other hand, climbed out of the relegation zone after the win over Portsmouth and another victory over relegation rivals would see them climb to safety. We were never too convinced about Bolton and you might remember us saying they could go down even when the Trotters were in the top half of the table. Gary Megson’s side are heavily criticized for their long-ball tactics and even though we don’t like it, we do believe this is the only approach that can give them a realistic chance of staying in the league. The Trotters are low on spirits after three straight defeats, in which they conceded no less than 13 goals and they have every reason to fear for the outcome of this match. Considering the Trotters scored just two goals in last five home games against Blackburn, you should consider backing .Gary Megson has no fresh injury worries with Sean Davis and Joey O’Brien the only injured players at the moment but the big problem is most of his players have been underachieving lately. The boss has challenged Swedish striker Johan Elmander to start scoring goals on regular basis, which is something he failed to do ever since arriving for a hefty fee from Toulouse, but that doesn’t look like happening any time soon. Maybe you should try with . Even though Blackburn are far from impressive this term, they manage to pick up points against relegation rivals, which is very important if you are fighting for survival. After beating local rivals Burnley and two defeats against title contenders, Rovers managed to record an extremely important win over rock bottom Portsmouth and they thus escaped the bottom three. It is now time for Big Sam to face his former team that have endured nothing but tough times ever since he left. The visitors would probably be satisfied with one point as that would leave them above Bolton and we therefore expect them to adopt a defensive approach. Rovers failed to score in three of the last four away games and we see a good value in backing .Sam Allardyce could be the only Premiership manager at the moment that will have fully fit squad to choose from and we have no doubts he will be delighted by this. Vince Grella is finally fit after recovering from a serious of niggling injuries, whereas Martin Olsson has recovered from swine flu and he is also ready to face Bolton. Jason Roberts look set to start after his excellent cameo role against Portsmouth, during which he scored a brace and Bolton defenders will have problems containing him. Backing looks like the right thing to do. The games between the relegation rivals are never very interesting since both sets of players are completely focused on fulfilling tactical tasks. Neither Bolton nor Blackburn are expected to risk too much with so much at stake and we don’t expect to see too many goals at Reebok Stadium.    We will post results of this match, as soon as posible.. stay tuned.
