Last weekend Mallorca made a real feat in Madrid, when they managed to level the score against Atletico with nine players on the pitch. Racing managed to take a point last weekend in the last minutes of the game against Osasuna. In the last round even though they were outnumbered Mallorca managed to snatch a point against Atletico Madrid, and they have Valero Borja to thank for the equalizer in stoppage time. BY the middle of the week Mallorca lost 2:1 to Valladolid in Copa del Rey round of 16. Team’s best scorer Aduriz has scored five goals in the first eight rounds. Mallorca are great at home this season but outside of it they can’t seem to find the recipe. Having in mind that they are hosting Santander and they traditionally score a lot against them, think about .  Coach Gregorio Manzano can certainly be satisfied with the play of his team but according to his own words they shouldn’t get carried away as only Villarreal and Sevilla were worthy opponents. Mallorca can boast excellent defense and only against inspired Sevilla they capitulated twice, so in the match against Santander they shouldn’t have problems protecting their net and .  Thanks to Manuel Arana, Santander managed to take the first point at El Sardinero. Two weekends ago, they came from two behind in the last ten minutes against Zaragoza, thus reaching the seventh point away, eighth this season. By the middle of this week Racing suffered a minimum defeat by Salamanka extending their winless run to six games. Interestingly Racing have gone only two matches without scoring, while their defense kept a clean sheet only once, which is why we think is worth a shot.   Santander are very dangerous visitors and they picked all of their points away. The recipe for good games outside of their stadium lies in the fact that Santander play tough with one forward and threatens the rivals through counterattacks. The tactics will be the same in this match, so the only striker up front will be Mohamed Tchite. This is a sturdy player from Burundi, with bad temper but excellent attacking potential which he demonstrated in the match against Zaragoza. in the game and we believe he will start working this weekendMallorca are one of the most successful hosts in Primera, which certainly can’t be said for their rivals that are known as dangerous visitors. Hosts are in better form and the tradition favours them, but that doesn’t mean that they will give up without a fight.
