Udinese looked very bad against Juventus. Marino opted to go in defense style and had he been a bit more brave, his team would’ve made a better result. They suffered a tight loss without firing a single shot towards the rivals’ goal and the smell of dissatisfaction and lack of trust in the young manager is slowly spreading around the club. Their preseason ambitions seem completely unreal at the moment. It is unbelievable that this team is so dependent upon Di Natale. Sure they lacked couple of players, but nevertheless, things had been the same last year and Udinese still showed good displays matching every team on the green. Livorno arrive to Friuli after a win over Genoa. They managed to grab three huge points  and it appears that the shock therapy – Cosmi sacked – gave results. He himself claims he was impersonating Mourinho because his team scored the winner in the dying moments, but with him on the helm this team nailed three wins and are heading into the season with more optimism than before. Out of the last five games, they only managed to beat Roma. They have problems scoring and the teams from the upper table are going further away. They have every reason to be afraid of this duel since they have already proven incapable when their rivals are playing hard defense. Simply, they don’t have a player like Quagliarella anymore capable of getting the pressure of Di Natale and good at opening the space for his teammates. No wonder they beat Milan and Roma and lost to much weaker sides. It’s as if they are without strength to get in the good run, there are too many oscillations which may have been due to the inexperience couple of years before, but that excuse is not valid after several years spent on the turf together. Still, there is a lot of quality in this team, they are favorites to win, someone will have to find the right balance in the defense and stop the rivals from scoring. It is a positive thing for this team, as you probably know this is the weakest offense in the league, until the game with Genoa they have scored only four goals in the entire season. Tavano was missed last week, but it didn’t make a big difference on the park. Cosmic changed his model a bit, Lucarelli was the only one up front with two attacking midfielders supporting him from behind, thus unloading the pressure off Candreva who is growing up in a hell of a player.  The team is slowly beginning to get its proper features, but recruitments are still needed. These players will get tired, there is a long enduring season in front of them and the poor finish will still be their main problem. Livorno are the team which had been promoted later than others having gone through the play-offs and it can take its toll. They are without  enough money and, in addition to that, their young manager Rutolo is without his trainer’s license so Nelo Russo had to cover for him. They worked as a duo which is an unorthodox situation. Busy and difficult schedule just added up to their problems and when you take all of things mentioned in to the consideration, their current position is not so bad after all.  Regardless of their difficult situation, Udinese should still win this game. they are more quality side than their rivals, guests are still without Tavano, Galante and Pieri. Over the past few years, the Tuscans didn’t have the best of time at Friuli. Still, go easy on the stakes, but go on the Udinese anyways. In some of the games they were a bit unlucky (against Fiorentina), luck might smile on them now. We will post information about results of this match..
