Instead of the announced win in France, Juventus suffered an embarrassing result after the weak 90 minutes on the field. The team looked clueless and without a single idea how to match the French champions. Bordeaux are now on top of the group and Juve can’t lose to Bayern in the final round of group stage if they want to go to the eight finals. Still, poor weather is yet to come upon Juventus, after Amauri’s name was added to the injury list, they also lost their other classical strikers with Iaquinta and Trezeguet also injured. Two of those are not coming back to action until January. Cagliari put in a great display against Milan, they didn’t deserve to lose and they were ripped off. Simply, it is the destiny all minnows share, ref didn’t blow the penalty over Matri and didn’t send Dida off. Even though their great winning run has been ended, if they keep up like this, Sardi will have no problems repeating the last season and ending up in the middle of the table. They can do even more, but they probably don’t want to, Europa League is an unnecessary luxury for them that would only drain out this team. They shocked Juventus this summer having beaten them 3:2 in Torino which was their first away win over Juve in 40 years’ time. Still ,they lost on a minimal margin at home afterwards. Also, two years ago, they allowed Juventus to turn the result upside down and win in the dying moments. They are bursting with confidence now having notched up four wins they managed to get out of the red zone and they can relax a bit. A point would do to them, they will wait for their chance patiently and, the fact Juve will be limited without their strikers, is in their favor too. Manager Allegri is doing a great job, his team went through another poor start to the season, word axe was on everyone’s lips and then a terrific winning run came along. This will be a great experience for the young mind, in a year or two, he will without a doubt take a helm of a bigger, more respectable club. he doesn’t have real problems with his squad, he will once again start the game with two stirkers, Nene and Matri and he has no reason to be afraid of the wounded lion. He will need to play football we think. He wandered around a lot, trying with two tall strikers when Juventus’ games looked like an endless crosses show. Then he came up to his senses, changed his formation in 4-2-3-1 but his team’s performances are still unstable and erratic. New signings didn’t fit in, Diego and Melo are not what we expect them to be, and the light cavalry, Del Piero and Giovinco,  will now have to charge forward. This will rule out headers and include a lot of simple passing style. Ferrara might chose to pack the midfield and neutralize home strikers. If would be very bad for Juventus not to win this game and to let Inter go away on them more so because two sides are to meet next week. Cannavaro is coming back on  which is an encouragement and defense will be a lot stronger with him aboard. Juventus didn’t have the best of times this season, but they won most of their away games bagging more goals than at home. It is hard to tell, numerous injuries are indeed a problem for the guests, but even with their back against the wall, you should never bet against Juvetnus. That is the situation when they become most dangerous and if Cagliari rush into outplaying with the rivals , the same way they did it against Milan, they are not into anything good. If they concede early, they might get disappointed. Allegri is not naïve, we are in for a mind-game with under 2.5 goals figuring as the best choice.
