In just five minutes Inter went from hell to heaven in Kyiv having overturned the deficit and won the game. It looks as though it was a deserved win since they created better chances than the opponents in the second period. That was the first Champions League win after more than a year and at least everything depends on them now as they only need one win from two remaining games to go through. Roma defeated Fulham on Thursday and they are close to securing the place in the Europa League knockout stages. They also overturned the deficit but the most important thing is Ranieri rested some of the key players and the visitors will be stronger than last week against Bologna. It is a question how much risk is Mourinho willing to take. He fielded the best possible line-up in Kyiv, with not fully fit Sneider and Eto’o starting the match, but we are yet to see if the pair will take some part against Roma. Inter are doing well in Serie A, not thanks to their superiority but mostly thanks to their rivals’ problems. They are now seven points clear at the top, which is a big advantage but they still cannot afford to relax. Roma are not an easy rival and we expect Inter to give them the respect they deserve. As it now seems, Mourinho is willing to take the risk and we could see an unchanged line-up from that which started the Dynamo game. The players will have had enough time to recover and there are no injured or suspended footballers. Tradition says that Inter record better results against Roma away from home than at Meazza. Francesco Totti, who recently underwent surgery, is obviously out, just like Juan, while Taddei is suspended. However, De Rossi and a couple of other players who missed the Bologna game are back and that will be a big boost. His team were robbed when playing Milan few weeks back but they showed they could match anyone on their day. The visitors are also looking to take advantage of Inter’s long trip and a difficult game in Ukraine. Jose Mourinho’s team defeated Udinese when they were in similar situation but it is about time their luck changes. The most important thing for Roma is not to concede early in the game because Inter tend to become nervous in the latter stages if they are still chasing the winner. The visitors also have to be concentrated throughout the 90 minutes as late goals have cost them some precious points lately. The bookies have raised the odds on home win but our advice is to pass on this offer. The hosts will be tired, while Roma rested some of the key players against Fulham, they have a couple of important players back, while the referees probably wouldn’t dare rob them again. The best option here is over 2.5 since both teams will be looking for a win. Mourinho is not interested in one point and of things start to go wrong he will risk everything.
