After losing at home to Barcelona, Deportivo struggled to reach a point in Almeria. In the derby of the round Valencia lost to Real Madrid in front of their fans, which saw them drop the third place. Thanks to Alvarez’s strike last weekend, La Coruna managed to fight a point against Almeria but it wasn’t enough to keep the fifth place on the standings.  Deportivo play equally well at home and away, while the only two games they lost at home was to Catalans, Barcelona and Espanyol. In the last five seasons Deportivo didn’t have success against Los Che at home and having in mind that the hosts have suffered a dip in form lately, we think that tradition might continue this weekend, so think about . Coach Miguel Angel Lotina can’t count on Andres Guardado and Antonio Thomas, who got injured in the last game.. Having in mind that Valencia only once managed to keep a clean sheet at Riazor, as well as that these teams always meet in high-scoring duels, we think that might pay off. After a pretty boring first half against Real Madrid, the crowd had the chance to see goals galore in the second half and keeper Cesar had more work to do. Villa and Joaquin managed to reduce the goal margin. David Villa was again the power engine of Los Che and interestingly he regularly scores against Deportivo. Having in mind the fantastic form of Primera’s top scorer, we have no doubts that he will continue the excellent tradition and Valencia are in an excellent run, as they have won fifteen of last sixteen games. When you know that the ground at Riazor suits them just fine, seems interesting. Deportivo are on a downtrend in the last two weeks and dangerous Valencia come at bad time. The visitors will give their best to make amends for the defeat by Real Madrid and we expect an aggressive start from Valencia. Even though tradition absolutely favours the visitors we suggest betting on over 2.5 goals. We will post live score and results of this match, as soon as posible.. stay tuned.
