Stadium: White Hart Lane

Tottenham would have made a big step to the top 4 finish if they had held on to the two-goal lead against Everton but they were unable to do it and now have to show a response in this match. Wolves, on the other hand, recorded the first win in nine games as they defeated fellow strugglers Bolton and they enter the match in good spirits. Spurs remained in fourth place even though they failed to beat Everton at Goodison but it is dropped points like these that can cost them dearly come end of the season. Tottenham not only squandered a two-goal lead against the Toffees but they also missed the penalty in the dying minutes of the game that would make it 3:2 and this is something they cannot allow to happen any more. The Wolves game is the perfect opportunity to record a big win and thus restore some of the lost confidence and we don’t think the hosts will miss such a good chance to return to winning ways. With Spurs scoring goals with ease lately, our advice is to bet on .Wilson Palacios picked up a rib injury at Goodison Park and he is likely to be replaced by Jermaine Jenas in the starting line-up. Harry Redknapp was delighted to see Luka Modric come unscathed through the friendly game against Grays Athletic but the diminutive Croat is still a couple of weeks away from making a return into action. Ledley King has suffered a new setback and he is set to miss this game, just like Jonathan Woodgate. Wolves are back in business after the incredibly important win over fellow strugglers Bolton and we can all see how much the players were relieved to return to winning ways. They now need to continue playing good football in order to escape the relegation zone and Mick McCarthy seems to have realized his side need to continue playing high-tempo games in order to keep picking up good results. The boss has already announced his side would try to close down Tottenham, which should put the home defenders under duress and we can definitely see Wolves scoring in this match. Therefore, we recommend betting on .Michael Kightly and Matt Murray remain long-term absentees but Ronald Zubar, David Jones and Chris Iwelumo have all resumed training and they are expected to return very soon. However, Ronald Zubar is the only one who has a realistic chance of making the squad for the Tottenham game, although he will probably not be risked. Serbian midfielder Nenad Milijas produced a man of the match performance against Bolton and he scored a beautiful goal from 30 yards out. The Serb is a big threat from set-pieces and his shots from distance are also very dangerous, thus are definitely worth a shot.Tottenham are eager to make amends for the Everton game and they clearly have more than enough potential to hurt Wolves. The visitors are encouraged by their first win in nine games and they will come to White Hart Lane to play football, which should promise us an open game and plenty of goals. Goal’s highlights, results and more will be on site, as soon as posible.. don’t miss it.
