Tottenham remained in 3rd place after beating Portsmouth at Fratton Park and Spurs are definitely looking like serious top 4 candidates at the moment. Spurs are now set to host Stoke, the team that are playing really well this season but the Potters, nevertheless, face an uphill task at White Hart Lane. There are not too many teams that can stop Tottenham when they reach top form and Stoke face a very difficult job on Saturday. The excellent start of the season saw Spurs emerge as surprise candidates for the top 4 finish and if they continue playing like this, Arsenal and Liverpool will struggle to keep their place in the top 4.
