Viola saved the image of the Italian football but, on the same night, Inter managed to mess that image up. Having beaten Lyon, Viola got qualified for the top 16 in Europe and they are in raptures now. On the other hand, Inter suffered an embarrassment in Barcelona. Mourinho is on thin ice, media are declaring him ignorant and charlatan, while Moratti was also pretty much displeased. His overpaid team looked sad against Barcelona who were even without Ibrahimovic and Messi. Inter need a quick response not only in Europe, where they will have to survive 90 minutes of hell against Rubin, but also in the domestic league where there are duels with Fiorentina and Juventus in line for them. Guests in this game are not doing too great in the domestic league which comes as the consequence of fatigue and injuries of some players. Still, against Lyon those few players came back in action and added up to the improvement of the entire team’s performance. Most of all, they got back to basics. It all gave results and it could be used as a fine recipe for Inter game. still, fatigue will be their problem this time too, you can’t play the same players twice a week and Fiorentina are yet to get the knowledge of that if they don’t boost the squad in January. Donadel is suspended, Mutu ios also out, Jovetic is not fully fit and will be on the bench. So, we will see Prandelli fielding the same set-up with Vargas and Santana on the wings and Gilardino in front of them. This is his favorite formation but we have already stated our opinion that Fiorentina can’t go in Wednesday-Sunday rhythm constantly. We will advise Inter win. Don’t get confused, we aren’t denying all the things said about Inter, but they simply have a lot more options to use, they are with more alternatives. Also, they have refs to mend their mistakes. Whenever Inter would go down in Europe, refs would go easy on them in Italy.
