Manchester City vs Hull City

Manchester City recorded the sixth straight draw as they missed the chance to beat Liverpool at Anfield and it’s high time they won a Premiership game. Hull picked up no less than seven points from last three games, all of which were played at KC Stadium and they enter this match in great spirits.Manchester City had a very good start of the season that saw them win five of the first six games but they then entered the run of six straight draws and this threatens to end their top 4 bid. It is this latest run that shows City still lack the character to fight for the title and the cutting edge to turn these draws into wins. The game against Hull is the perfect opportunity for the Citizens to return to winning ways and they will be eager to score the early goal and put the game beyond doubt as soon as possible. The hosts shouldn’t have too many problems with Hull and our advice is to back . After missing the start of the season through injury, Robinho is set to return from injury and he will be in contention for the Hull game. The Brazilian will start on the bench but we expect him to be introduced later on. Vincent Kompany and Michael Johnson came through the reserve game unscathed and they are also ready for first team action, which leaves Kolo Toure and Martin Petrov the only unavailable players at the moment. The hosts are eager to win this game and they will try to do it by a big margin, which is quite possible since Hull boast second worst defensive record in the league. Therefore, we see a good value in backing . Just few weeks ago Hull were sitting in the relegation zone and boss Phil Brown looked to be counting his last days at KC Stadium but the situation has significantly improved since. The Tigers played three successive home games, out of which they took seven points and are now big four points clear of the bottom three. They played really well against Everton, winning the game 3:2 and that was second successive game in which they scored three goals. The trend is unlikely to continue at City of Manchester Stadium but we can see them scoring one for sure. .Influential midfielder Jimmy Bullard skipped the Everton game as he was allowed to rest after playing a couple of games in quick succession following his return from a serious injury and he is expected to return to the starting line-up. Craig Fagan should also return after missing the last game through minor injury but his place in the starting line-up is by no means guaranteed. Ian Ashbee and Seyi Olofinjana remain sidelined. Manchester City are the hot favourites here even though Hull have raised their game in the past few weeks. The Tigers could score as they will have a lot of space to exploit and will be under no pressure but we still expect the hosts to score a couple of more. Summary of the match will be on site soon..
